Biography
Dr. Marylee Dilling is a board-certified internist. She is a primary care physician for adults of all ages and abilities. She is also a board-certified pediatrician. At Concorde Medical Group, she sees adolescents aged 13 and older.
Her passion is caring for adults and adolescents with chronic childhood diseases, such as cerebral palsy, congenital heart disease, cystic fibrosis, developmental disabilities, diabetes mellitus type 1, Down syndrome, spina bifida, and other congenital, hereditary, metabolic, and rare diseases. She also enjoys working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders, and people who are blind or have low vision.
Dr. Dilling grew up in western North Carolina and was a National Merit Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill. She graduated with degrees in biology and Spanish literature. She earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She then completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. After residency, Dr. Dilling joined Ridgefield Primary Care in Ridgefield, Connecticut. In 2017, she moved to NYC to work in the on-site medical office of a private equity firm. Dr. Dilling joined Concorde Medical Group in October 2020.
She believes that trust is the most essential part of the doctor-patient relationship, and this is dependent on excellent two-way communication. She works with patients to help them define, achieve, and maintain their health goals. Upon completion of residency, she was selected by her professors and peers to receive the H. Irving Schweppe Award for Superb Humanistic Qualities, or the “Doctor You Want Caring for Your Own Grandmother Award.” She strives to continue providing that level of care for each patient each day. Dr. Dilling has been named by her peers to the Rising Stars℠ Honorees list for 2022. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and son and is proud to call the diverse, resilient, and beautiful city that is New York home.
