Dr. Andrea Berger studied at a top tier medical school, the University of Rochester. She then trained at one of the leading academic medical centers, the University of Pittsburgh, completing two cardiology fellowships in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplantation. Her clinical interest and expertise focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of heart disease, cardiac imaging, women and heart disease, and advanced heart failure management. As a leader in the Go Red for Women campaign in the fight against heart disease, she has served as a Keynote Speaker and on the Medical Committee of the American Heart Association. She has earned the respect of her peers and has been elected to Castle Connolly, Newsday Top Docs, and the Exceptional Women in Medicine.
Dr. Berger’s practice philosophy is founded on a deep and abiding commitment to provide the highest quality medical care to all of her patients. Each patient is unique and special. Accordingly, her approach is individualized — based on evaluating the whole patient and his or her medical conditions to fully understand and appreciate how to deliver the most effective plan for the prevention and treatment of disease. She believes her patients are partners in their own care and she welcomes all opportunities to educate them to maintain and improve their health. In collaboration with Concorde Medical Group and Northwell, Dr. Berger will provide comprehensive, coordinated, and compassionate care, using the latest and most advanced medical and surgical therapies to achieve the very best health outcomes.
