Dr. Keil is a board-certified internist and primary care physician. She graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in biochemistry. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her internship and residency in Primary Care/Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center. She received a post-doctoral Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.
After completing residency, Dr. Keil worked at Gouverneur Health Center on the Lower East Side. She then spent two years volunteering with the French doctors, Medicins du Monde, in South Africa and in Nicargua. On her return to United States, Dr. Keil taught at both Lenox Hill and Beth Israel while completing a Masters in Public Health. In 1999 Dr. Keil and two others started a private practice that would last 14 years. After 19 months with the Mount Sinai Medical Group, Dr. Keil returned to private practice as part of Concorde Medical Group, an affiliate of Northwell Health.
On the first day of medical school, the quote over the door read “There is no greater privilege or responsibility than to be trusted with the care of the human body”. For more than 20 years, Dr. Keil continues to feel privileged to work collaboratively with patients on maintaining health and well-being.
