Dr. Aeshita Dwivedi received her medical degree from B.J Medical College, Pune, India. After completing her Internal Medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center, she completed her Cardiology fellowship at New York University Medical Center. As a fellow she was awarded the Women in Cardiology trainee excellence award by the American Heart Association. After her cardiology fellowship, she completed a Cardiac CT fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical center. At Cornell, her research focused on the identification of patients at risk for heart attacks and sudden cardiac death using cardiac CT.
After completing her training, Dr. Dwivedi served as an Instructor of Medicine in the division of Cardiovascular Diseases at New York University Medical Center. During her time there she was intricately involved with teaching residents, fellows and medical students. At NYU she was nominated to the Education Mission Leadership Development Program in 2019. Dr. Dwivedi has been named by her peers to the Rising Stars® Honorees list for a third consecutive year.
Dr. Dwivedi seeks to provide the highest quality care to her patients, and shares her knowledge by teaching medical school students, residents, and fellows. She has co-authored peer reviewed articles in prestigious journals and presented at many international conferences.
