Biography
Dr. Popow is an Internal Medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care with a focus on evidence-based medicine, preventive health, and individualized treatment. She is committed to building long-term relationships with her patients and helping them navigate their health with clarity, compassion, and partnership.
Dr. Popow graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biological Basis of Behavior. She received her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Langone Brooklyn. Her clinical experience includes extensive work in outpatient primary care, where she developed a deep appreciation for how illnesses can uniquely manifest across individuals and how essential careful listening and personalized care are key in achieving the best outcomes.
With a background in immunology research and experience caring for diverse patients, Dr. Popow approaches medicine with both scientific rigor and a strong commitment to listening and partnering with her patients. Her early exploration of traditional and alternative healing practices continues to shape her belief in caring for the whole person. She especially enjoys helping patients make sense of complicated symptoms, solving diagnostic questions, and supporting patients through the uncertainties that sometimes accompany medical care.
In her practice, Dr. Popow emphasizes collaboration, patient education, and thoughtful tailoring of treatment plans. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their health.
