Biography
Born and raised in Binghamton, NY, Dr. Rachel Friedman is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency in OB-GYN at Brown University’s Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, RI, where she also served as Chief Resident. Since that time she has been caring for women in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She worked in Boston for the Massachusetts’ General Hospital’s OB-GYN faculty practice for several years until coming to Manhattan to work in a private practice. She joined Concorde Medical Group in 2012 to practice general Gynecology.
Dr. Friedman’s primary interests are the treatment of abnormal pap smears, family planning, menopause, and gynecologic health in women on the hypermobility spectrum. In her practice. Dr. Friedman’s commitment is to provide compassionate, respectful and evidence-based care. Her goal is to treat each patient as she would treat a family member.
