Matthew Deng, MD, FAAP

Biography

Dr. Matthew Deng is a board-certified pediatrician and native-Texan who found his way to New York City. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas and pursued his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Afterwards, he moved to Manhattan for his pediatric residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he earned recognition with the Donald and Irwin Gribetz Excellence in Primary Care Award.

Dr. Deng is thrilled to join Concorde Medical Group. He looks forward to taking the time to forge strong bonds with his patients and their families. He aims to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to all patients. His scope of care and clinical focuses include acute illness care, routine physicals, newborn care, well child care, adolescent health, vaccinations, preventative care, nutrition, and child development.

During his free time, Dr. Deng cherishes time spent with family, friends, and his two mini-goldendoodles (Alasdair and Rue). He also has a passion for travel, enjoys jogging, and loves discovering new places to eat throughout the city.
