Biography

Dr. Susan Zweig specializes in Endocrinology, the treatment of glandular disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, menstrual/fertility disorders, and osteoporosis, among other conditions. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She received a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and earned her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. She completed her residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University and her Endocrinology fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York.

As a Clinical Associate Professor at the New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Zweig educates medical students, residents and endocrine fellows. She is an experienced research investigator involved in the clinical trials of innovative drugs and treatment modalities as well as a member of the NYU Langone Health’s Thyroid Unit.

Dr. Zweig has been featured in New York Magazine’s Best Doctors, Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors, U.S. News & World Report: U.S. News Top Doctor and has been named by her peers to the Super Doctors® list. In addition, she is a recurring guest on Sirius XM Ch. 81 Doctor Radio.
