Biography

Dr. Stuart Lewis is a general practitioner who understands that the opportunity to care for people over the entirety of their adult lives is one of the greatest gifts a career in medicine offers. Born in a hamlet outside of New York City, he received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Columbia and trained at NYU Langone Health-Bellevue where he also spent an extra year as the Senior Chief Resident. Dr Lewis is board certified in Internal Medicine, an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the NYU School of Medicine, and has taught medical students and house officers since 1996. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality care- that means listening, focusing on each patient’s individual concerns, being available when needed and creating a compassionate and caring environment.
