Biography
Dr. Stephen Waxman is board certified in Internal Medicine and emergency medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in NYU’s Department of Medicine and formerly was an attending physician and educator in the Department of Surgery/Emergency Medicine. Dr. Waxman has also held a variety of administrative and educational positions in emergency medical services at Bellevue Hospital Center. Dr. Waxman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree at SUNY’s Downstate Medical Center. He completed his internship at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn and his medical residency at Montefiore Hospital, the Bronx. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
