Biography
Sheila Horn attended medical school at Michigan State University, and completed her residency at NYU’s Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. She is also a certified acupuncturist, and incorporates the best of complementary and alternative medicine to her rehabilitation and pain management practice.
Her areas of interest are musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain, neck and back pain, rehabilitation of joint replacements, arthritic and rheumatologic disorders, pain treatment for pregnant and nursing mothers, and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
She has consistently named by her peers to the Super Doctors® list for several consecutive years. Dr. Horn has been on the faculty of NYU Langone Health since 1995 and currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
