Biography
Marie Castronovo is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, and received Bachelor’s degrees from both Columbia University and New York University.
Prior to joining Concorde Medical Group, Marie delivered primary care services to patients at CVS MinuteClinic and at Premise Health. She was also an adjunct professor at Hunter College in the Adult Nurse Practitioner Program. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Marie worked as a registered nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital in cardiology. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and serves on the board of the Columbia University Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She is also a published author, speaker, and researcher on the topic of nurse bullying, with a focus on its resolution.
Marie chose a career in healthcare when a family member was diagnosed with a serious illness. It was through that experience that she developed a passion for caring for her patients. She provides them with the same level of care that she would want for each member of her family – delivering the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.
