Gynecology/Urogynecology

The Concorde department of Gynecology provides for all the medical needs of women's health. Two outstanding women physicians, who have expertise across the entire spectrum of preventive gynecologic care and the treatment of all significant disease, manage the department. They provide initial examinations and evaluations and follow up examinations to assist and advise their female patients from youth to beyond. Patients are seen promptly for acute problems and regularly for routine pap smears. Our physicians are also expert in all gynecologic surgical procedures.

Christina Kwon, M.D.,F.A.C.O.G. is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the New York University Medical School faculty where she is an active member in the Division of Urogynecology.. Dr. Kwon offers a full spectrum of gynecologic care including annual examinations, cervical cancer screenings, contraception, menopausal issues, sexual function, and abnormal bleeding. She also specializes particularly in urogynecologic care, including the evaluation of both surgical and non-surgical treatments of female incontinence, bladder disorders, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic reconstructive surgery.

Rachel Masch, M.D. , M.P.H. has recently joined the faculty at Beth Israel Medical Center where she is the Associate Director of the Division of Family Planning and is helping to start another family planning service. Her private gynecology practice at Concorde Medical Group enables her to provide individualized health care in a private office setting. She is a board certified gynecologist who offers the full range of general gynecologic care. The medical issues she confronts on a daily basis includes annual exams, cervical cancer screening, breast exams, infertility questions, menopause issues, abnormal bleeding concerns, and contraceptive planning.

Pauline Higgins, RPA-C is a welcome addition to the Women's Health care team at Concorde Medical Group. Ms Higgins brings with her, extensive experience both as a Physician Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU School of Medicine, Bellevue Hospital and as OB/GYN Supervisory Physician Assistant at St. John's Queens Hospital. She is an outstanding edition to the Group, providing compassionate and warm care to our patients.
